Organic Fruit, Organic Jewelry, Organic Poetry

Our local farmer's market was flooded (sorry NJ!) with beautiful images today.  Fruit and vegetables are courtesy of Cherry Grove Organic Farm= "Look Mom,  no stickers!"

Michael just read an article to me from the Financial Times weekend magazine about the jewelry designer Sevan Bicakci.  He lives and works in Istanbul and his work reflects that city and its rich blend of religions and cultures.  Thought you'd enjoy some of the fruit of his labor.....

If poetry could be organic, this would be a perfect example...

This is Just to Say

I have eaten
the plums
that were in
the icebox

and which
you were probably
saving
for breakfast

Forgive me
they were delicious
so sweet
and so cold
