Just in time for St. Valentine's Day...

Michael and I just finished watching a very interesting film, A Model For Matisse, which is about the friendship of painter Henri Matisse and one of his models, Monique Bourgeois,  who later became the Dominican nun Sister Jacques-Marie.  You can watch the film instantly on netflix .

Sister Jacques-Marie also inspired Matisse to create what he  called his "masterpiece", the Vence Chapel in France.  The film covers the creation of this beautiful chapel in great detail.
