japanese-american designer Isamu Noguchi  (1904-1988)
I've always loved the design work of Isamu Noguchi and have two of his pieces on my "after the kids are grown and before the grandchildren come" wishlist....

in the meantime....

I was surprised to discover that he also designed playgrounds...this month's DWELL OUTDOOR has an article about these projects.

If you're lucky enough to live in Atlanta, your kids can enjoy the only surviving Noguchi playground in the USA.
