light becomes even more beautiful when you are deprived of it ...ten days and counting!
no heat, no oven, no fridge, lots of layers...so much laundry...I know why the residents of Staten Island are begging for underwear!   

and now we are having a snowstorm...and have moved to a hotel in town for the night...
